With the country now into its next stage of reopening, the chance to meet up with more of your friends and family has arrived, but that also means now could be a very good time to ensure your skin is in great condition.
As well as the chance for more people to gather together socially in people’s homes, around the barbecue, in a restaurant and at the pub, there is even the opportunity to get a little bit more close up and personal by hugging friends and family.
This may all be very welcome after months of separation and social limits, but people will be able to see your skin in close up in a way they have not for many months.
All that could come as a bit of a shock. There will doubtless be many folk who have been carefully looking after their skin for years and ensuring they use products like a daily microfoliant to keep their skin in pristine condition, only to decide they did not need to do so while shut away from friends, family and work colleagues in lockdown.
If this is you, now is undoubtedly the time to do something about it. You may find friends are queuing up to arrange social events with you, so it will be a good idea to get yourself in your best shape as soon as you can. And if you are single and being able to socialise again might open up more opportunities, this is even more true.
It is also worth considering other reasons for needing good skincare as lockdown eases. One of these is that living in towns and cities can have a detrimental effect on your skin, something that is bound to take its toll on those living on the edge of London in a place like East Molesey.
The coming summer months may provide many more opportunities to get away from urban areas and out into the countryside, but the lack of such chances in the ‘stay local’ months may have taken its toll. There is no better time than now to fix all that with good skincare – as well as some trips to greener places.
